EmptyNet for managers and goalies
For Managers
Urgent game requests
Flag a same-day request urgent if your goalie cancels. Matching goalies decide whether they can make it; urgency does not guarantee acceptance.
Know your booked goalie
A goalie’s acceptance books the game automatically. Then you can see their ratings, completed games, and no-show history on the game screen.
Clear checkout
Post paid or volunteer games, set optional goalie compensation, and review your fees before booking.
Goalie pay is optional. Volunteer means no goalie compensation; manager fees may still apply.
For Goalies
Find more ice time with game alerts matched to your rinks, skill level, and availability. Review the terms and choose the games that work for you.
Choose games that fit
Set favorite rinks and skill levels, keep availability current, and review each game before accepting.
Keep all listed goalie pay
There is no goalie subscription or platform cut. Every dollar of listed goalie compensation goes to you.
Get paid in the app
For paid games, secure payment is released after the game is completed.

Quick answers
Common questions.
What is EmptyNet?
EmptyNet is a hockey goalie finder for adult teams. Managers post rink, time, level and game terms; matching goalies may be notified and decide whether to accept.
Who can use EmptyNet?
Adult hockey managers can post games, and goalies can find opportunities that match their rink, skill level, and schedule preferences.
How can I get notified when hockey teams need a goalie?
Join EmptyNet as a goalie, select your favorite rinks, set your skill level and availability, and enable push notifications. When a manager posts a game that matches your preferences, you’ll receive a notification. Review the rink, time, level, and any compensation offered, then accept if you can play.
What details should a manager include in a goalie request?
Add the rink, date, start time, skill level, and whether the game is paid or volunteer. Clear details help goalies decide whether the game fits.
Do volunteer games still have manager fees?
Volunteer means the goalie receives no compensation. A manager may still owe the booking fee and applicable processing fees when a goalie accepts.
Does an urgent request guarantee a goalie?
No. Urgent requests use a higher booking fee, but matching goalies still decide whether they are available and can accept. EmptyNet does not guarantee coverage.
Where can I download EmptyNet?
EmptyNet is available through its official App Store and Google Play listings. Use the buttons below to open the listing for your device.
What areas do the public rink guides cover?
The public rink guides currently include Florida markets such as South Florida, Tampa Bay, Orlando and Central Florida, Jacksonville, and Southwest Florida, plus selected rink-directory references in other U.S. markets. These are venue references, not live goalie availability, and EmptyNet does not guarantee coverage.
