The Company Behind EmptyNet
EmptyNet Sports, LLC builds tools that help hockey players and teams connect, find opportunities to play, and keep games going.

Built by a goalie. For the game.
EmptyNet was founded by Mike Kempf, a beer-league goalie who had seen the same problem from both sides: teams scrambling for a substitute when a goalie couldn’t play, and goalies looking for more ice time. He built EmptyNet to help teams post the game and help goalies find opportunities that fit.
Our Mission
Help hockey teams find the goalies they need to keep the game on—because no team should have to forfeit over an empty net.
Never miss a game.
Never leave an empty net.
Our Flagship Product
EmptyNet
EmptyNet is the app built by EmptyNet Sports, LLC. Managers post games, and matching goalies receive notifications based on their selected rinks, skill levels, and availability. Goalies can find more ice time, and managers can reach available goalies in one place.
Reach Matching Goalies
